Dainty Daisies 12x12 Scrapbook Page

Hey there!
Its Celia from Paper Beats Rock Designs and I've got a quick project to share with y'all that I made using the Dainty Daisies stamp from Doodle Daisies and Ink.

I first printed out a batch of daisies on 110 lb cardstock and used some Distress Oxide ink pads as watercolors to paint them in Rainbow tones. I then printed out another batch on vellum. I made sure not to touch the vellum paper for a long time, I mean I didn't go back to my printer for at least a few hours. When I did grab them they were still a little wet, if I had an anti-static tool I would have used that, but I don't so I used a little bit of flour to dry up what ink did not dry. *(be careful while fussy cutting them out! They did start to smear when my hands got a little sweaty... it'll be fine once it's in a page protector thoughšŸ˜‰)*
After I chose a background paper from my stash, I started by smearing gesso down a strip on the left hand side using my finger. Then I used watercolors from the dollar store to fade from Orange to Yellow on top of the gesso and made a few splatters along its sides.
Then I just had to decide where everything was going to go along the stripe; I wanted the flowers and pictures to look like they were cascading down the page. So I made sure each photo had almost a crescent shape cluster around them that attached to the other ones.
After using some Thickers to create my title I felt like the page was still a little bare. So I cut some tags from the same paper pad the background came from, and created another cluster with some left over flowers on the bottom right-hand side of the page. It was pretty perfect because one of the tags was just the right size to fit my journaling in.
I finished it off using punched butterflies and messy thread bundles tucked around the page. I hope you like what I've created and have gotten a little inspiration for different ways to use your stamps!
