Hello! How’s it going in your area? I hope all is well. Today I am here on the blog to share a project I have been working on. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures along the way 🤦🏽♀️. But hopefully I can explain how I made this card.
First, I chose Dainty Daisy from Doodledaisiesandink it comes with 3 different flowers and they a adorable. I used watercolor paint (Jane Davenport brights) to paint the leaves middle of the flower. I was going for outside the lines, messy look. Next I splattered paint all over the flowers. I then took a fine tip pen and made dots to create shadow. I further enhanced the petals by shading pedals with 90% cool grey colored pencil.Secondly, I die cut the watercolor daisy and wove pink ribbon through the scallops and hot glued the bows on. I layered another scalloped die cut underneath for another pop of color. Lastly, I embellished it. I was going to center the single flower embellishment but decided to fussy cut another daisy and display it at the bottom of the card. Check out the shop for amazing springtime images!
