It’s Monica with OwlMakeItCrafts I am excited to be on the blog today sharing this super cute card I made using one of the new images called Swinging-by and she's super adorable.
I used a stamp from Ink Road Stamps that I’ve had for a while and never used. This are the Bella flora borders and thought this one was perfect to hold the little swing. I stamped it on watercolor paper and used distress inks to add the background. I love using the ink smushing technique to achieve this. I then used a brush to add details and a zig marker to color the flowers.
Swinging-by is such a cute and adorable image that can be used for any occasion. I drew legs to resemble a swing set and used one of the sentiments from the stamp set. Inked the edges to match and popped it with foam tape.
I layered the panel on to pink cards to k and mounted it on to a light blue card base. Just love how this card turned out, what do you think?
